breaking the rules


do you ever have the feeling that sth is terribly wrong with this  spring's fashion??
lately i feel sth is off: i always thought that pastels were suitable only for christenings and that floral prints should not be mixed. 
are we breaking all the rules???
and what about different shades of the same color?
anyway every time i question an outfit, i decide there is no wrong or right- this spring is all about fun!
so stop questioning and start having fun! who knows we may be the new 80's!

    i feel like fashion and style is about breaking rules. we definitely are breaking the conventional rules of style, but i think it's a good thing :)

    No one should be questioning fashion. That's the same as questioning art; there are so many perspectives & people should follow their hearts to truly express themselves!

    I think breaking rules is part of the fun of fashion. What works for you might not work for anyone else. It takes some experimenting to find what looks fabulous on you.

    I definitely know what you are saying..and pastels are a HUGE trend this spring. And pattern mixing was nothing I'd ever have tried but now that I've been blogging, it's awesome :) Hope you'll stop by and perhaps we can follow each other?

    yes i think it depends on the way you mix the patterns and how much you exaggerate the outfit!
