i've been dreaming of this bag ever since i first saw the ad on vogue- hideous ad- great bag though

then i saw this fake celine bag on romwe for 44Euros/

i felt quite torn- i have always been against fakes/ the original is a true beauty/ the fake one not so-there is sth wrong(always) with the golden details/ of course the original celine is unattainable for the moment

maybe when i start working, but not yet:(

i ended up buying this- not so mush to show off, but simply because i adore the cut- it seems quite spacyi think!

story1: the pencil skirt

i used to consider pencil skirts boring- anyway not for my lifestyle. i'm neither librarian not a secretary- so i was pretty sure that i would never ever wear one

but this season something changed- i fell in love with knits and suddenly it dawned on me-

a huge knit+ a pencil skirt+ heels= perfection

story2: sketching

i have in my room tons of dossiers full of sketches- i started with princess at the age of 5. when i was 10 i decided that the best princess ever was eowyn from lord of the rings so for the next 2 years i did that- after that fashion got me and when i turned 18 i decided that thae closest thing to fashion i could do in greece was architecture- i still sketch- not buildings- clothes

so i can't help but wonder...

after i graduate this year maybe i should try a different direction and apply for fashion schools as well.

this is why i thought

the air was freezing and the sky was crystal clear- i started jumping around, i had a titanic/ king of the world moment and all i could feel was the warmth of my chunkiest knit!

fake fur scarf: it's warm, so warm and soft. i'm rather cold in the mornings so i never step out without something stylish/ huge/ warm around my neck

chunky knit: i'm a huge fan of huge knits. that's all i wear recently. a colorful pair of pants and a huge pajama like knit. feels like i'm still under the covers instead ove sleep -walking to the uni

i recently realized that when it comes to building a wardrobe, one must always return to basics

don't get me wrong, i adore extravagant, fun pieces! they totally alter my mood_ sometimes though i feel i have a wardrobe full of clothes but nth to wear

this is why i started investing on quality, not quantity. i also came to understand that the great thing about basics is that you can recycle them, mix and match. an outfit based on basics can never go wrong_ some think it can get boring- not with the right accessories ( that is bags and jewelry, maybe hats?)

so here for the night out i chose a grey baggy jacket from h&m, a white tee from cos ( i call it the pregnancy tee, it fits great but it's huge_ there is room for a lot of food in there), a blue pair of shorts from zara and my orange fun clutch from cos

last but not least, i feel the need to apologize_ my scary smile_ i did it again:(_

so i did not just play cluedo- i used to create whole stories in my mind-blackmails, long forgotten love affairs, hidden agentas, lost wills- i loved it so much because it reminded me of all the agatha Christies i used to read back then!

i even dreamt of becoming a female hercules poirot!

i did what a every good blogger would do! i gave it a try!i grabbed boy's oversized shirt and stepped out in the city!

as it turns out men's shirts are not only stylish and chic but really cool! i mean

literally cool!

it was once again freakishly hot (i'm not complaining- this indian summer is everywhere- if it doesn't stop though the whole human race will become extinct- imagine cute eskimos watching the cute igloos melting away) but the oversized shirt protected me from the sun and i could feel the wind on the inside!

mustard! yummy! that's what i thought when i saw this amazing and so fun pair of pants the other day on zara!

mustard is ~~a difficult color~~- it's not white beige or black! finding the right tee or the right shoes may seem tough if not impossible.

unless u are me- one bag- two cardigans- a skirt- and counting-

i'm finding it difficult to find colors that make sense in my wardrobe anymore:(

lack of color! that's what i thought when i took these pictures yesterday afternoon! there was a significant lack of color in my outfit! my pants were beige but i consider beige to be more or less a dirty white

at first i thought it didn't matter- who needs color? not i!

but then i stepped out of my blue- white apartment (spoiler---> next post u get to see what my room looks like) and the sky had the most amazing colors i had ever seen.

it was the colors of the wind all over again ( Pocahontas is a huge part of my childhood)

that's why i played a little bit with my pics + added some color

i was driving in my car- i stopped since there was a stop sign and then one of those guys that try to convince you to clean your car's windscreen appeared+ did the most peculiar thing

he asked me for a cd! i have tons of them in my car
so i gave him my kinks cd- i thought they were the perfect happy music and he should have it:D

i just finished watching THE HOUR the new bbc series. I LOVED IT- the 1st season had only 6 episodes. what a pity! the cast is incredible, especially ben winshaw! romola garai is hauntingly beautiful and stylish!!!!

The suspense is set off when an academic—who has something to do with an engaged debutante—is murdered in a subway corridor; Freddie, who moves in the debutante’s circle, sets out to investigate.

The drama is promising, and all the characters fascinating—the absolutely splendid Anna Chancellor is mesmerizing as a brisk, hard-drinking foreign correspondent, and Julian Rhind-Tutt is over-the-top yet believable as the prime minister’s oily press advisor. Only the art direction lets down the show: London looks like the Prague set for an expressionist movie, and the costumes are strangely off. These drawbacks could be due to budget considerations, which loom over our world now just as the cold war loomed over the 1950s. The Hour’s writer-producer, Abi Morgan, announced today that the show will return as a second miniseries that picks up the story nine months after the end of the first. We can look forward to more sexy, suspenseful history lessons.

yesterday i spent all morning downtown doing some shopping!

i ended up buying a new pair of flat espadrilles- ever since garance dore posted about how much she hates them, i became addicted- anyway that's another post- here i want you to pay attention to the shoes pictured below-

i think i found the worst pair of heels ever!

they have 3 different kinds of glitter on them- gold- silver and black!

i tried them on and i fell- i guess i deserved it, since i hated them so much!

yesterday ~~i spend all day in front my pc~~- i had to produce a 3d aerial view of an urban planning project for the city of palermo

(do u remember? i went to sicily earlier this summer because of this project)

anyway, i hate spending my day in front of my pc!

so when dimis called and said we should hurry because the sun was about to go down I JUMPED literally and met him by the seaside.

we walked a little bit, joked, then almost got hit by a bike.

but when we arrived at the old abandoned swimming pool we decided we should take some photos!

and these are the steps- it's actually quite simple- all you have to do is use the thread and start making a braid!

only remember u have to put in between these pieces of metal- i needed approximately 40 pieces (±0.80 euros)

since i dream of marrying chris martin ( yeah musicians are hot) i decided my skirt should be YELLOW_my top should be YELLOW_ my watch YELLOW as well_ maybe i should have a YELLOW day

so i called mY friend dimis yelling and screaming THAT I WAS YELLOW

he screamed back LET'S GO FOR A YELLOW COFFEE

since that is rather impossible i ordered an orange juice (they did not serve lemon juice)
i should add that when dimis showed up HE WAS NOT YELLOW

that was the end of YELLOW_the rest of the day was a tragedy

so this is august 31th

the last day of summer!

i hope it gets less sunny- less freakin' hot

i can't w8 for the first rains!

sorry for disappearing like that- i feel the worse blogger ever when i do that!

so i've been working on a project all year long about the urban revitalisation of the city of palermo!

after long hours - cold nights- days without sleep at the university, the project was finally completed at the end of june!

but we had to prepare a presentation for the faculty of architecture of palermo!

it sounded awfully like vacation!

we stayed at sicily for a week- maybe a bit more- our proposal gained the first prize- then we did some sightseeing!

sicily is amazing- as i always suspected- palermo is a city of decadent beauty- one can imagine a city like havana- a city that used to be great, a city of great grandeur- but now only ruins remain- beautiful ruins!

here i have some pics of the things i saw- since i was the one behind the camera you can see no pics of me- but i promise to acquire such pics- they are hiding in my friends cameras
